EV Academy was established to provide quality education many years before ESL industry has become widely popular in the Philippines.
EV has become a pioneer of providing Communicative Language Teaching to Asians whose access to practical communication skills is limited in
their countries. Moreover, it has always been about the students—their educational needs and comfortable living. Up until now, in every curriculum we research and formulate, in every advancement we endeavor to take, our students are always the driving force behind it.

Our History
Since 2004 EV Academy has been providing different English programs, and it is first in Cebu to develop “Intensive English Programs” (or IEP),
a concept that has become a trademark nationwide.
In 2009, we took a historical step forward by opening the largest ESL school nationwide and by launching the concept of “school & resort”.
With the opening of our new campus last October 2017, we became the top option for international English Education in the Philippines.
In 2018, EV Academy became the Official Test Venue for IDP IELTS examination.

1. Teaching English since 2004 in the Philippines
EV Academy has been a pioneering English learning institute in the Philippines since 2004 and the first in Cebu to develop
“Intensive English Programs”, a concept that has become a trademark natiowide.
We boast a faculty of teachers with relevant experience of teaching English to foreign students. They regularly receive enhancement trainings,
monthly academic tests and yearly performance evaluation to ensure quality of teaching in EV Academy.
Teachers are also supported in their academic achievement such as taking official TOEIC and IELTS tests.
2. IDP IELTS official test center
EV Academy is the official Test Center of IDP IELTS in Cebu City, Philippines.
Our students can take the official IELTS test in the same venue where they take the weekly mock test.
This brings a great comfort and sense of familiarity to our students – a real advantage for them.
The IDP IELTS test is held four times a month and the EV staff can help you register for your convenience.
3. Artistic and Modern Design Facilities
EV Academy launched the concept of ‘School & Resort’ for the first time in the Philippines in 2009.
As we moved to a new campus in 2017, we built facilities and environments that fit it.
The green and wide gardens, high ceilings, and large windows give students a sense of comfort and openness
when they spend a lot of time in the academy.
